This clock is a hand made wooden works clock made from Brazilian Rose Wood and is so designed to allow the internal mechanism to be seen.  The clock can be wall mounted or can be set on a separately available matching floor stand.  When mounted on the floor stand the clock becomes the equivalent of the more traditional Grandfather Clock.  The design is based loosely on the wooden works clocks dating back as far as 1700 and a similar item built by Wayne Westphale in 1986.
